A postcard from Sommerro: invitation to Oslo’s hidden gem.

CASE STUDY / DIGITAL MARKETING

As part of a creative case for Sommerro House, I explored how the hotel's established visual identity could be extended across different digital touchpoints.
Working within the existing Sommerro identity, I developed the concepts and visual execution across the different digital formats.

Instead of creating something from scratch, the challenge was to step into an existing visual world and see what I could do with it.
Finding small ways to push the visual language, create a sense of story and make each piece feel like it belonged to the same world.

Client: Sommerro House
Role: Creative Content Creator
Challange: Exploring how Sommerro’s established visual identity could be translated into a cohesive and engaging digital presence across different formats.
Deliverables: Creative concept, animation, newsletter, Instagram feed, social media content.
Type: Creative case / Proposal
Advertisment / Social Media

Dear Sommerro friend,
The city changes pace again...
The idea started with the feeling of receiving a postcard from that one friend who always seems to be somewhere beautiful. Not a perfectly composed travel advertisement, but a little glimpse into their world: where they stayed, what they ate, what they saw and the moments in between.
What if an email could create that same feeling? Taking inspiration from the postcards already present within Sommerro’s visual universe, I reimagined the format for the inbox, creating a digital invitation that felt personal, collected and just a little bit enviable, rather than simply another piece of marketing.

The newsletter
Builiding a visual rhythm
Rather than treating the feed as a collection of individual posts, I approached it as one continuous visual story. The aim was to balance Sommerro’s existing visual language with different moods, compositions and types of content, creating a feed that feels curated but still alive.
